Why might I have problems with special symbols importing data?

Special symbols are text signs or letters that are used in some specific sphere or language. They can be the signs with diacritical marks (like accents, umlauts, etc.), scientific and currency symbols and others.

Generally, Store Manager detects symbols from spreadsheet data saved with UTF-8 encoding format. However, in case your file has some other symbols (from those which are not included in UTF-8 encoding type), you might need to select other type of encoding. Generally, symbols recognition depends upon your PC settings and Store Manager only reads them.
